Eighth Shawl Quest

I have read and reread the quest report here and elsewhere. This is what I want to do, and probably many others have similar thoughts.

ONE: Collect the items needed to craft the armor.

Done

TWO: Show Shawl Seven to Loremaster Borannin

Not done

THREE: Obtain the Issue Kit from Loremaster Solstrin

Obviously not done...

FOUR: Craft the armor and place in the Kit
FIVE: Combine the armor in the Kit
SIX: MUCH later spawn the Dane and proceed with the crawl.

Is it possible to do the quest in this order. If so, what specifically should be done so that the Dane is not spawned well before his time?

Show your Shawl to Loremaster Borannin, Obtain your Issue kit from Loremaster Solstrin. Get your Engraving tools from Meg, finish collecting any of the gems if you dont already have them. Make your armor and put it in the issue kit. Once it is full hit combine and now you can bank it until you can show your shawl to the Chamberlain / King. I have done the quest twice and second time I messed up by showing my shawl to another person after Loremaster Borannin there by messing up my insta Dain summon with the Chamberlain.
