Not that I really need this item being maxed in INT at lvl 44. (Just want to do it out of shear boredom) I was wondering if your tradeskills had to be up to do this or not. If so what do they need to be at? I was also wondering if one could not farm all the items can they be bought in the bazaar? Being a necro it is kind of hard to track the required mobs. Hopefully all the items are not no drop.

I finished my 8th Shawl with no failures in any combine in any shawl with only one TS under 200. Tailoring was at 193, Brewing was at 250, and everything else was 200.

The end result isn't that great statwise, and will mostly be laughed at by Time+ people. But it's still an accomplishment the Time+ people probably couldn't achieve due to the fact that it requires high tradeskill levels AND can't be MQed at all.

The 8th Shawl is one of the quests I'm doing to prove myself without getting Time flagged. The rest are Ring of Dain Frostreaver IV (doing 10th Ring War this weekend), Phylactery, Dark Phylactery, Signet of Arcane Might (once I'm Elemental-flagged), and maybe even PoMischief Flowers.

If you don't already have a Deck of Spontaneous Generation from pre-revamp PoM, it is not possible to get flowers.

Even if you do the cards are astoundingly rare and expensive (at least on my server). I paid 105k for just a white knight and considered it a good deal.

I'm also working on the shawl quest and have all of my skill above the trival of everything through 7th shawl (have to research 8th shawl but don't think anything is done except for the fights)

I did have a fail: Snow Griffin Scouffle. At that time my baking was maxed at 300 (315 with trophy) and I still failed. farming those 4 no drop eggs were a pain even with tracker in my group.

And you have maxed out Flowing Thought as well then? Because I'm level 70 (380 INT) and still wearing my 8th shawl for the mana regen +3 on it.
