  • ToFS revamp and the shawl walk

Does anyone know if the shawl walk is affected by the ToFS revamp? There are new mobs in Iceclad now and I don't know if they will aggro the dward or not.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

I am almost ready to do this and I don't want any suprises.

Hey Mester, yes. We found it has changed. I posted a reply under your message in Alla.

Basically the last fight is now tougher. A new mob called a Doomshadow spawns, about 4 of them I think. They hit for 140 odd, I think they have about 4 to 5k hp (that's a guess I died fast as I wasn't expecting them and didnt have any healing power backing me up lol).

They spawn as soon as the 4th wave is killed, so you gotta get a group up there fast after the general starts moving again. It should be possible to take them down before the general gets there, and the commanders spawn.

    Good luck !

      Thanks for the info!

I'll just have to bring some more friends when I try this. I need 2 Unrefined Diamonds and I am done! (assuming no failures on my combines)

To be honest i would wait a little before trying. The new mobs around ToFS have rather large Agro ranges and hit quite hard as well as being social.

All the work you put into the shawl id hate to see you have to redo the event.

          Actual Experience

I just did the 8th shawl walk (on Rallos Zek). And received the shawl (whew!) We had no issues when we passed the ToFS. There are no encounters at the closest point to the Tower, and we all stayed on the opposite side of the General as he was walking past it to avoid problems.

BTW, the Avatar is a Dwarf looking guy. I think you can easily make the case that the shawl could be "improved" (and the quest extended), by a greater god. Surely this guy must be one of the minor ones.....

Haha! Troo. They should upgrade it and have a gnome give it to you. *THEN* people could say it can't be upgraded any further.
