Does not really concern me - I already finished the JC step and soon should have LMM kill for pottery part. But I am curious if anyone knows how Aid Grimel works with new backflagging. Say, you get EP access by killing the big 5: Saryrn, LMM, Agnarr, RZ, SolRo, but never get Bert or TT. Will you be able to do the quest, or get sent for more 'plane knowlede'? What about those who get EP/Time by killing the 4 EP bosses, but have no pre-EP flags?

That's how I did it anyway....
Well - you do of course need flag to get a hopestone and any other no drop components for required combines/turn-ins.... if there are any besides hopestone........

And due to the last flagging patch, you can 83/17 instead of 85/15 and there is no minimum number, so you can push a non-flagged character into any of the elemental planes if you have 5 other flagged members in your group. This is one way to camp/loot a hopestone.
Unfortunately, I have no confirmation for you either way, Bregalad.

Why? In our raid I was a will-in (lacking one of the HOH trials). Right after MM bit the dust there were a couple of adds. While finishing them off someone from my group dropped out and I was forcefully ejected from the zone by the game mechanics. I know it wasn't a druid or wiz port because I ended up in POK right in front of the POT stone. I rushed back. Could not zone in "You don't fulfill the requirements.." The raid leader had a couple flagged people zone out. I was then able to zone in and was trying to target the PP when he despawned. No flag and absolutely no help from EQ GMs ("I'm sorry but we have no way to help with flag problems.....").
I'm only mentioning this to help others avoid a simular disappointment. The person that dropped probably didn't even know what would happen as a result of leaving.Treefriend of Bartoxx
