Stumped-hard on 8th shawl

I did the Blessed Coldain Prayer Shawl quest about a year ago with no hitches. Today--on my first alt--I slamed against a brick wall. When I got the empty issue kit, I put all my stuff in and it would NOT combine. Of course I was in a hurry because I didn't want the Dain to pop or get popped but nothing I tried did any good (log off, rearrange the items, bribe the Loremaster.... ). I got back up on this board and (if I dare say it here) on Alla to double check the stats and name of each item in the kit. Double checked that I bought the molds from the right vendor (same one as last year too). The new petition format specificaly directed me to send this in as a "bug" to be fixed on a future patch.....gag. In desperation, I went to the Dain again, got a new set of orders, returned to the loremaster and got all new books but I didn't have the nerve to destroy the old empty kit. Still no combine. ANY suggestions would be MOST welcome. Please.

Did you make 2 bracers?

and it is the no-drop version of the armour? you didn't accidently combine it a second time with the etching tools to make it tradable

2 Bracers? Humm, I wonder if EQ could put in a Trade Skill in masonry so I could build a brick wall to bang my head against.......

Sellable kind? Didn't know there was such but will triple check the "no drop" status--I remember checking that on some when comparing with pictures on Alla.

2 Bracers... how dumb can I be--of course that has to be it.
