Aid Grimel Quest question..

I heard from someone the other day about a rumor that the quest was ninja nerfed in a patch making it so the only person who can do the final turn in HAS to have all their tradeskills at least at 220 and even then once they do the final turn in, their character is like "flagged" so they may not do another final turn in order to prevent the earings from being sold or given out to friends. I am sure on most servers the final item is NO DROP anyways but I play on the Firiona Vie server and have been helping to finance a friend of mine in getting all the pieces he needs, and stuff to work his skills up and in return he was going ot get me one of the final earing versions... Anyone have any info on this or heard this rumor?

I haven’t heard this. As far as I know, the only change made to the quest is to allow people to swap the caster for the melee version, and vice-versa.

Perhaps this rumor stems from the fact that the above change has been coded in such a fashion that, on ‘regular’ servers, players are unable to obtain BOTH. Only on FV, since the end result is tradeable, can players have one of each.
