OK I looked everywhere....

What mobs in PoA drop chunks of wind metal? Alla has it as only coming from one named mob although I find that hard to believe.

There is a post that mentions the chunks are 'common' and the air arachnid silks are 'rare', but that is about it.

Is it a drop from any mob in zone? Is it from the guard looking mobs at the entrance?

Any help would be appreciated since I am assembling a group to go there tonight...Thanks!

Well, sorry about that... the primary site has taken a left turn into Limbo... be patient, we are trying to find it again.

The metal drops from multiple mobs and is pretty common. The silks are a pain because of where they drop, spider island, Avatar of Dust trigger event thingy. Hate that event.

Are you referring to Air Arachnid Silk items? If so, what are the names of the mobs? our source is incomplete here.

Yeah any of the mobs on Xegony's island can drop the silks, there are 5 models of mobs there, spiders, suits, elementals, phoenixes and djinnis, all can drop the air arachnid silk.

Since I am not currently flagged for the zone, I can't check this myself...

could you provide a slightly "better" name for the 5 models... Yeah, I know it is tough, but something like the common portion of the name for each model...

There are six set of mobs (you left out the "bees"), each with named and five regulars. All I can remember atm is A Deadly Cloudwalker is the name of the spider regular and An Air Phoenix Scout is the name of the phoenix regular.

I believe the Djinn "regulars" are "A Djinni Air Defender" and the "suits" "regulars" are "A Knight of Air".

I'm drawing a blank on the bees and the elementals, sorry.

OK, added these mobs to the Plane of Air, and tagged them as sources for the Air Arachnid Silk... still looking for the names of the other models.
