Getting a Featherwood Bow Staff????

Ok, so featherwood bow staff..... whats the lowdown?

I have yet to see one of these for sale and am ready for that part of my Aid Grimmel.

I havent been into PoAir yet, but i hear its a raid zone????

I wondered if anyone has advice they cold share. Is it possible for a single group to farm for this?

I've seen a few drop from the stormriders (orange bee critters).

In general, the mobs in PoAir appear to be about as mean as PoEarth mobs, but with a lot more wanderers. We were there as a raid last night and about 3 of them dropped in a 2 hour timeframe. Nothing was way out of line, but one of the named mobs (red to a 65) hit for 1500s with a 700 proc. We were wandering around the level you zone in/out of. The zone appears to be a number of passages with some "islands." Some of the islands are little city/towns (letters on this map), some are grassy knolls with mobs.

I've heard that some roamers may end up in aggro range of the zone in. I have no knowledge of the truth of that.

Absolutely can have a wanderer agro you at the zone in.

I answered your post on EQ Druids and I will here as well. The staff is not the hard part. The silks... the silks will hold you up. They drop on spider island. Nasty place. Avatar of dust trigger raid is when you get them.

Guild has been making the push for Xegony recently, and one of my guild's main officers came to me for 10 Air Bow Sting Combines, and then 10 more.

Each time, she let me keep one success. So I've got 2 banked.

MUAHAH! Once you clear out a few wanderers and armor duded from zonein you can move up to a little bit inside the tunnel which is a good pull spot for 2 groups. I do NOT reccommend less than 2 groups. Adds will eat you, and spiders will hit for 1100, they hit fast and proc a spin-stun. They will bounce from tank to tank as they proc. Lots of fun.

Took 2 groups in, we wiped one time moderately early to a 2 pull and 2 wanderers, which was just bad luck, but settled in and killed slowly but surely. managed to get 2 staves in about 2 hours, one of which i got, and I MADE THE BOW! HAHA!!

Aid Grimel can lick my chain boots! I WIN AT TRADESKILLS!
