Ghoul of Takish-Hiz

So I need that spirit anchor and I can't make this guy spawn. I've been killing everything that walks in the sand during the evening in Sro and no luck. I have a tracker alt stationed at the dark elves to monitor tracking. When I first started I killed everything during any hour and still no luck. No AC spawn either, but I gave up on jboots a billion years ago when folks would nab a spawn you've been working on for hours.

I've also tried killing all the dead things roamin in the northern part of Oasis of Marr during the night.

Any clues?

As a note of irony. Back before I knew about the quest and was on my way to an LDoN, I believe I killed this guy in Oasis of Marr. Because of tradeskills hogging my bank space, I've been alot more strict about grabbing any old quest item and figuring out its use later.

As a druid, every time i have a spare 5 mins i port into South Ro run into the desert, track, then leave.

May take a bit of luck but eventually you may see it.

I lost one Ghoul to someone who got to him before me.

But the next time i saw him on track i got him and he dropped the anchor (whooot first kill)

I have also had 2 Ancient Cyclopse this way.

First i looted and stuck in bank, so when i got 2nd kill i had to get a friend to come loot. We were both 65 druids so we MQed each ring to each others alts.

Well at least you get to do the quest. They changed it so that shadowknights are no longer given the quest. They did this without telling anyone. Guess who's got most of the quest stuff banked.

Have you turned in the books? If not, you can make a pretty nice profit off of a set of books (if you farmed them and didn't buy them). I've seen sets go for over 350k on Brell.

I know the easy books are going for 20k range now though. I saw Velk's Spellbook for 50k in the bazaar. Firebone Notebook is still pricey.
