Obsidianwood Saps--Different Spiders

Do different kind of spiders drop the saps more often?

Only asking because I always take groups over to the field past the lava (where Pyronis, Blazzax etc spawn) and fight the yellow spiders over there--but more recently ive started soloing the blues at ZI and I think I've had a BETTER drop ratio.

I also notice that thsese spiders at the zoneline have the word "tree" in their name...Sap comes from trees in real life...

I HAVE seen saps drop in both places, and my guess right now is that Its just a quirk of the randomness of the whole thing. I haven't killed enough spiders to make a good statistical study :P

Anyone else seen similar results?

Drops rates are probably similar in both places. We've got nothing in 2-3 hours at ZI, and 10 in about 8 hours in second field. And we've had the opposite, more or less.

All in all, id take the group to second field when you can, and save the ZI for when you cant.
