Can you MQ the hope stone if the owner of the hope stone have 220 in all trade skill and have done the earrign quest already ?


im finally done with my earrign quest but i got a 2nd hope stone 2boxing in PoF and no one in zone needed it , so i loot it in case i could MQ it myself.

Under no circumstances can the Hope Stone be MQ'ed for AG.

Errrr, based on what? I had thought people had said in the original thread that it was possible and someone did it, but that thread is lost now.

The way the questing system works it should always be possible to MQ anything providing both players meet all the preconditions of the turn in (220 in all tradeskills and elemental access in this case).

In cases where they want to prevent multiquesting, they make you combine things in a container first, as happens in the other steps of the earring (except you can MQ the brewing step anyway).

AG won't accept a mq, he turns it back saying no thanks if you only give him hope stone.

As you know (I am clarifying for the audience), a MQ is done by person A giving item 1 to the NPC, then person B giving item 2 to the NPC and receiving the reward. In the original AG thread, it was noted that AG when given either Hope Stone or signet *singly* would return the item straight away. Thus no chance of an MQ.
