Not that this is going to be particularly helpful (more like an interesting tidbit)... but one dropped from one of the djinn adds that come during the Xegony fight....

Course there are definitly easier ways to lay your hands on one =)

I got mine from a mephit model I believe in Earth during guild raid while clearing trash on way to one of the rings, my shammy-bot got one when my BF was boting him for xp also in Earth, near the ledge left of zone. Came home one night to see it in inventory. He told me he /ooc'd asked in guild and no one wanted it, so rather than rot he looted (was down to 30 seconds). So...if I ever feel sadistic enough I can do this twice.

One dropped off PoE trash while I was at ledge camp and the other dropped when I was solo at tables in PoF. I have all skills at 220+ if anyone wants me to attempt a chaining(on E. Marr server)

I got mine yesterday off a trash mob in Air on our way to The avatar of Wind. Then today one dropped during the Mud Ring in Earth.

Just got mine an hour or so during the Mud ring.

Only two of us rolled we tied with a 38. Then I won with a 99 second roll off

Very happy to have this piece now.

I think it was a rock guy each time, near the first temple.

Totally random, any mob in Water, Fire, Air and Earth can drop it.

Seen it at zonelines , seen it deep in. Saw it off trash mobs, minis and named. Its 100% RNG pretty much in each zone.

I got my Hope Stone while in a group, near the zone-in in PoW. It dropped from a mephit model mob if I remember correctly.

Believe I orginally got mine off of one of the devil models from Fennin event. Although I have seen countless rot while quadding in Fire.

Got mine in POA from a trash mob. I have seen them drop here the most.

I spent about 8 months exping at Tables in Fire, still do from time to time. If you are a caster class, that's really an ideal spot to look for Hopestones. You get great exp (4% AA per kill at lvl 70 in a group of 5 or 6) constantly. Any mob in any EP zone can drop a Hopestone, as previously stated. My own personal observation is that one will drop at Tables about every 24 hours spent camping there. That's certainly an approximation, but it will give you an idea of the time you need to spend killing mobs to have a decent chance of seeing one drop. There were certainly times when I'd go for 2 weeks without seeing one, and other times where 2 would drop within a couple of hours, so it's very much a random thing.
