Porous Ore for Vah Shir Warior part of Sinic Wolf Bane Weapon

What's up with this item???

It is supposed to be a ground spawn. I've had my warrior, Khatti, searching for some for over 2 weeks in the areas described, and at the one LOC specified.

Is the drop rate nerfed?

What does this thing even look like when on the ground?

Any common loc's where I could look?

Is it No Drop, and could I purchase some from someone? I've never seen it for sale in the bazaar.....

I am really getting frustrated looking for this stuff....

It is a ground spawn, just a really rare one. I remember last seeing it to the left of the road, near a patch of trees, somewhere between the Vah Shir outpost and the owlbear camp. If I recall correctly, it looked like a tanish-green blob, kind of hard to see against the ground. And yes, it's a terribly aggravating quest, but that Officer's Cloak of Service makes up for a lot...

The Porous Ore is a ground spawn int he Owlbear Cave area, in the valley right outside the cave entrance. They appear as black and red spots, so on the green ground they really stand out. Just wander that area and look on the little hills to the south of the cave entrance and you will find what you are looking for.
