    Shawl Quest 2

    tried to combine the 10 kromrif heads in the box i get from loremaster borannin ... don't get a message at all .. just can't combine ... anyone else noticed that too ? when i have only 9 heads in it i at least get a 'you cannot combine ... ' message .. shrug .. seems broken at least for my wizard havent tried yet on other char ...

    Many quest combines are not working right now, I would wait for the next patch and try again.

      It is safe to say that all quest containers in the game are broken. Shawl 2. Ring 9. Gate talisman 1 and 2. These I have personally tested. I have reports that the "never fail" pottery wheel will not do the combine for which it is used, nor the strenght of the elements box.

      If you think I am alarmist, please feel free to post which quest containers do work. I would love to eat my own words after some quickie patch that fixes them (right after I press combine thank you very much).

        Also could not combine a shissar bane weapon tonight in a forge, so its not just special containers. 1st combine I've tried to do since the new tradeskill interface too.

        I combined the 3 Iceclad Cutlass Fish in the container I got yesterday (Shawl 7). It worked without problems.

          I submitted a bug report on my comine issue last night. Only way this stuff will be fixed.

              8th armor combine

              So can anyone confirm that the armor issue kit combine for the 8th isn't working? I'd hate to spawn the dain and then not be able to complete this part....

                Lol, subject name about gave me a heart attack, thought you meant that someone had finally found like a second shawl quest in GoD like some people had hoped for

                  8th Shawl issue kit works

                  Just an update, I was able to do the issue kit combines for the 8th shawl last night, so at least this container is "working as intended".

                    Same problem with someone in my grp. He tried to combine the Kromrif heads in the Preservationist box, but nothing happend.

                    Just wanted you to know you're not alone.

                    Anyone know when the next patch is scheduled?

                      I also couldn't combine the heads in the preservationist box. I was a bit freaked out since I wasn't aware that this was a widespread bug at the time of my petitioning.

                      Guide seemed pretty exasperated to hear about this bug yet again. Heh. I was even more exasperated since I had waited until I had everything ready for shawls 1-4 so I could do them all at once. By the time they fix the box I expect to have everything ready to complete shawl 6. I suppose I should work on my tailoring in the meantime.... *groans*

                        I encountered this bug this evening with the 2nd shawl has anyone discovred a fix/wrkaround of any kind.

                          next patch is sometime during the 2nd week in march. See the thead in general tradeskill discussion.

                          Apparently it went live on test today.

                            2nd Shawl Still Broken

                            I have been trying to Combine the 10 Kromrif Head in the Preservationists Box for two days and nothing happens (no error message). If I place 9 heads in the box I get the standard "You cannot combine..." message. I have petitioned but received no response. I didn't realize it was a widespread problem until I read this thread. Just wanted to let everyone know that it is still broken.
