  • Vah Shir Warrior Quest: Noril Galoon and the bag of bolts.

I am haveing trouble with this part of the Vah Shir Warrior Quest.

Noril Galoon examines the hilt for a moment and hands the sword back to you. 'This looks like it will work fine.' He says. 'If you are up to doing me a favor, I can teach you how to modify your shield as well. Take this bag and these files and come back to me when you have some spare time and want to learn more about shields.'

You say, 'I have spare time.'

Noril Galoon says 'Shields and bucklers are very versatile. They can be used to deflect blows, knock your opponents off balance, and even offer a secondary form of attack. If you want me to help you to modify your shield, I'll need you to gather some rough ore pieces. They can be taken from the rhinobeetles that reside in the moor. Place them in a forge with a flask of water and your set of files to create bolts. Combine the full bag of bolts and return the product and the buckler to me.'

I tell him I have some spare time, and yet nothing happens, I meantion learning about sheilds and haveing spare time and nothing.

I am on Erolissi Mar, 15th level Vah Shir Warrior, and have over 2 backpacks full of the rough ore peices, (Those acrylia flecked nuggets are hard to find, took me five levels to get them all.) I had them on my character, and off, when asking. I tried to give Noril my buckler, and he kept it... I'm rather stuck, because he never answers me, when I try and advance to the second part.

Anyhow, I'm able to make the bolts, I just hope I can get the buckler back... and I also need to really work on my blacksmithing, it's at 20... I finaly, finaly found the newbie Smith quests, and have had the hardest time finding bloodling carapaces, it's as if they are either raredrops, or just don't show after level 15... I can't even find them at merchants. Oh, well, I'll get them, and soon my skill will be enough that 2 backpacks of rough ore will yeild more than 2 bolts.

Yes, the Bloodling Carapaces are extremely rare, the good thing however is that the Bloodling Carapace Mail, which is created from the Bloodling Carapaces is DROPPABLE, and is RETURNED when you do the quest...

so if ANYBODY makes one, it can be used numerous times for many different people. If you're on Drinal, give me a tell some time, as I saved the one I made.
