I made a twink shammy and decided to get him to Solstice Earring at level 15. I have not started tradeskilling with him yet, he's all 0's. I did the combine in the Forge with the 9 gifts and I got a skill up in blacksmithing. I makes me wonder if the final combine is no-fail or not.... I think it should be recommended to dump a few points in to blacksmithing if you're going to combine.
