4th Shawl and faction

asked the NPC about velium vapors and she told me to go crawl back under the rock in which I came.

Ok, I have never killed a giant with this char. I assume the quickest way is to get in on a vindii or tormax raid.

That quest for the focus item for geonids... does that give enough faction to do the 4th? How many times would I have to do the 1st and 2nd shawl to get past apprehensive?

If anyone know a quick and painless way a non-guilded person can get faction with the coldain I'd greatly appreciate it.

Don't believe Tormax gives regular Coldain faction, just Dain. Not sure if Vindi gives Coldain either...most mobs further from the zone lines in Kael don't, just dragon faction.

However, on the plus side, doesn't take a lot of faction either. An hour or so of steady killing of light green mobs at the EW zone line will do it. Most mobs between ZI and the bank area give Coldain faction--my cleric was max ally with Coldain after about 3 hours of powerleveling with him tossing out a single nuke at each mob.

Thanks for the reply. I probably got my mains faction by the tenth ring wars then. Hopefully I can just group up some of my alts and do a quick killfest
