Aid Grimel...something isn't right

From my understanding, he should not have been happy to give me the pottery step in the quest since i do not have Vallon Zek flag. I have everything for e-planes except VZ and RZtW. So, either the listing saying you need VZ is wrong, or he's gonna eat my hand in (gulp). Made the urn, just need to farm sacred waters to know for sure.

My best guess is you need ONE of VZ or TZ since both give you letters/notes. Can anyone confirm doing it as well without VZ? (Problem i think is he's the easiest mob of them all, and why most already had his flag....also why i can't get him, he's always deaded to 12 people before i log on).

Actually, this leads me to believe that you just need access to Sol Ro for that part. I can't remember 100% if you need TZ/VZ to get in to Sol Ro or not though.

Can't zone into solro without raid....cuz i'm missing VZ, so yes need VZ and i assume TZ for solro. Only really (and it's not that big a deal) worried have to redo it if i hand in and lose everything ....then again, i need to camp an item, i'll probably be PoTime flagged by the time i find the time to camp it, shrug.

One thing I have gotten to find out being on Firiona Vie is that Aid Grimel himself does not check your tradeskill when handing an item in to him.

He only checks it when asking for a pattern or such. I can confirm this as I have made many items for my friends who do not have the flags, or the skills to do the combines/get the item needed from him.

So if he gave you the urn pattern, you have the needed flag for the quest.

I think you need RZtW for SolRo, which you stated you didnt have.

how do you check what flags you ahve for PoP quests and the such?

To check your PoP flags, head to the Seer in PoK; she's in the same building as Mirao Frostpouch, the barbarian potion/alchemy supply vendor near the PoT stone. Sit down in front of her, target her, and say "guided meditation". That will give you a list of what flags you have picked up.

Side note: If you get your PoP flags out of order, you can also say "unlock my memories" to her to get them synchronized. Again, you have to be sitting.

You Dont Need RZTW to zone to Solro. www.graffe.com int he quest section has a great guide to flags in PoP it can prob tell ya what you did wrong.

Right you are, it seems. According to this site one only needs TZ, VZ, Saryrn and Mithaniel, plus talk to Maelin.

You need every preceeding flag to get into Sol Ro, not just VZ/TZ, Saryrn, and Mith Marr. In fact, the progression map the previous poster linked to is missing the Bertoxx progression part of Sol Ro access as well.

All I am missing in flags is Vallon and Tallon Zek before I can enter Sol Ro and he gave me my Urn Sketch yesterday so I guess you do not need the Zek brothers flags for this part.
