  • books for newbie from guild master

While playing with some new alts, I discovered that 2 guildmasters in Freeport area offer something new. Two books on basic tradeskilling. Cheers and hats off to the one who dreamed this up.

Log was off so I had to type this - all typo's are my fault:

Hand Brutol Rhaksen the note found in your hand upon birth.

Brutol Rhaksen says 'Hahaha.. I sure hope you prove more valuable than you look, little one. Once you are ready to begin your training please let me know and I will get you started. I will be able to further instruct you on how to progress through your early ranks, as well as in some of the various (trades) you will have available to you.'

    Say 'what trades?'

Brutol Rhaksen says 'I thought you might be one who was interested in the various different trades, but which one would suit you? Ahh, alas, it would be easier to let you decide for yourself, perhaps you would even like to master them all! That would be quite a feat. Well, lets not get ahead of ourselves, here, take this book. When you have finished reading it, ask me for the (second book), and I shall give it to you. Inside them you will find the most basic recipes for each trade. Those recipes are typically used as a base for more advanced crafting, for instance, if you wished to be a smith, one would need to find some ore and smelt it into something usable. Good luck!

    Receive Tradeskill Basics: Volume I

    Say 'What second book?'

Brutol Rhaksen says 'Here is the second volume of the book you requested, may it server you well!'

    Receive Tradeskill Basics: Volume II

Inside is some text and the following recipes

these are just regular recipe books and have been in game for a couple months now. If you do a search you will probably find the posts on it.

Most, if not all, of the newbie GMs have a text similar to this and can give out these books.

Out of some 12 new alts - only 2 had the (trades). Oh well, lol, was new to me and I still celebrate it. Wish they would put it on every guildmaster (envisions the spreading of the tradeskill bug).
