6/7th shawl and faction

Hi all, just wondering about faction when handing in your 6th shawl to get the pattern etc.

Ages ago I had got the 6th shawl and then had to switch to giant faction for the quest gear. I have finally got to dubious and am getting sick of killing giants in GD.

Anyone manage to do the hand ins at dubious?

hi I wouldn't attempted turn in at dubious, best thing to do is probley to get coldain faction fast, is a run to kael and do the plate cycle for coldain faction and the royal blood you need for 7th shawl

I wouldn't try it with anything less than amiable faction, although if memory serves, you do HAVE to have max ally faction with the dwarves to complete the 7th.

You most certainly do not. I am not max ally with Coldain, and I'm ready to do my 8th shawl walk. I've always been on Coldain faction.

It's possible you may need ally faction, though I think you could also do it at warmly (I think it's warmly -- the step below ally, at any rate). You definitely don't need max ally faction, though.

Funny thing is a friend that was also doing the same thing handed theirs in at dubious and got the pattern etc.. they now have their 7th shawl and they're working on the 8th. I'm now indifferent and I'll probably finish off my 7th shawl when I next log in.. then the fun bit of getting non-kos to the dain *sigh*.
