Hollowshade war

For those of you smiths out there that are working on collecting stuff for the shadowscream armor, I am trying to collect shrieking stuff, and having a hard time finding it.

I read some information about getting it from the sonic wolves in Hollowshade when they control the southern island.

I went to Hollowshade and sparked the war and helped the wolves control the southern part and then started killling bunches of wolves, but couldn't find any of the shrieking stuff.

I tried tenebrous mts and after killing 2 or 3 dozen and not getting any, I am getting frustrated.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

The War is a nice feature of the zone, but considering that all VahShirQuests need stuff from the zone thatīs mostly unavailable during the war, itīs not that great anymore - my guildīs kities are farming stuff for the sonic-bane weapons for quite a long time now but we either have to finish a running war first or some bloody idiot starts the war while we are camping some mobs just to get some stuff he can sell in the bazaar later.

So if you intend to go and farm those substances, please check if there are some questers in the zone and try to find a compromis - if there are people eg camping the sonic wolves for their blood itīs really unsocial to go, kill the wolf-boss and start the war while eliminating the wolves.
And also try to finish the war you have set into motion.

You'll get about half a stack of the appropriate drop for each clearing of the southern islands, wolves or bears.

As said already, if you start the war to farm smithing drops, please remember to finish it - Vah Shir newbies need some very rare drops for their weapon quest, and they can't push the war to completion.

When I was learning the fixed war, back before that thread even existed, I had to content with a lot of higher levels coming into the zone and triggering attacks, without asking anything at all. They thought they knew how the zone worked, but were very wrong, and too full of themselves to take advice. <sigh>
