I'm trying to make the faceted emerald, faceted diamond, and faceted sapphire and am getting a DNC message.

I'm pretty frustrated at the moment! I've got the no-drop unrefined emeralds, diamonds, and sapphires, and the etching tools. I'm combining them in a Jeweller's kit.

silly question (based on guide), you are combineing Unrefined xgem + ETCHING TOOLS ?

If so .. that SHOULD work.

Well, I'm not sure what happened, but I ended up with faceted gems. The strange thing is, I KNOW that I did not do even 1 successful combine!!!

The first emerald I tried gave me the DNC message. I double-checked the Etching Tools and the unrefined gems. Then tried several times with the diamonds and sapphires (started with 6 emeralds, 3 sapphires, and 4 dimaonds).

However, this morning when I logged on to triple-check, I had all faceted gems in my bags! /boggle

oh well! I've got all the armor made but 1 bracer (failed the soft fur padding combine!) so I should finish soon! yay!
