Gardunk says 'You fight like alligator and tear enemy limb from limb! Wear tunic that smell of swamp an devour enemy wit brodder Dark Ones! You go see Gargh now, he got work for you!'

Gargh says 'You [friend of Gardunk]? Meez friend of Gardunk.'
Gargh says 'Dat good. He tell meez you was comin'. Meez learn you to fight like alligator. Dominate through fear. Dat is what we do. Strike fear into heart of enemies. You [ready to start]?'
You say, 'i am ready to start'
Gargh says 'Good. We start easy. You go and kill snakes. Skin da snake and bring me da Snake Scales and a Fang. Dat your first task.'
[hand in, get Dark One's Bracer]
Gargh says 'You done good. You begin to know fear by causing fear. Next you learn about da animals. You learn about da animals by fighting dem and tearing them apart. You ready to [learn about da animals]?'
You say, 'learn about the animals'
Gargh says 'We start with da wolf. You go to da forest and kill wolfies. Bring back to me four of da Ruined Wolf Pelts to prove what yooz done.'
[hand in, get Dark One's Cap]
Gargh says 'So you know all about da wolf now. Dat is good. Next step is important. You need to learn to [fight like da alligator].'
You say, 'fight like the alligator'
Gargh says 'Best way to do dat is to fight alligators. But dere no alligators around, so we improvise. Hunt down da spiders in the forest and tear dere little legs off. Bring back two of those to Gargh.'
[hand in, get Dark One's Leggings]
Gargh says 'Ok meez believe you. Here your reward. Meez think you just about ready for [next part of your training].'
You say, 'next part of my training'
Gargh says 'For da next part of your training you go and strike terror into da snakes again. Only not the little ones. You go and you skin the scales from a tree snake. You bring meez back one large snake skin. Meez be waiting for you here if you make it back alive.'
[hand in, get Dark One's Claw]
Gargh says 'You did it! You cause lots of fear for them. Dat good. Even da spirits are starting to tremble. Soon you will be able to make dem do what you want. But there is [one more task] meez want you to do.'
    You say, 'one more task'
Gargh says 'You is getting stronger. It time for you to spread fear to da little halflings. Scour the forest until you find dem. You go and spread fear to them. Fight them. You peel off dere hides. Bring me four Matted Halfling Hides.'
[hand in, get Dark One's Leather]
Gargh says 'Meez impressed. Da spirits, they tremble in terror before you. Meez can't teach you no more. Go and dominate through fear. Fight like da alligator and tear your enemies apart.'

      Ok, some comments.

This is the same old beastlord quest that existed when the trolls were in Grobb; the rewards are the same, the quest items have been adjusted to Nektulos Forest.

Note that the claw is primary and secondary, so it will make a useful secondary weapon when the beastlord gets dual wield. Also, bracers aren't lore, so you can have two.

All of the drops are tradeable, apart from the matted halfling hides; the tradeable items are all commonly found on merchants aroudn newbie areas. Ruined wolf hides come from black wolves; snake fangs and snake scales come from moss and garter snakes; a large snake skin from tree snakes; and spider legs from the black and red spiders. The matted halfling hides come from the leatherfoot scouts, two of which cross the path in front of the newbie log every 16 minutes or so. It took me 2 hours with an entirely untwinked beastlord and no assistance to get to level 4 and a full set, as well as plenty of cloth armor from decaying skeletons to fill the gaps. The halflings were tough at 3 and 4.

This quest has no tradeskill component; it is also not strictly comparable to other newbie quests (apart from other beastlord ones), as there is no container or patterns/molds, and the quest briefing is given strictly sequentially.
