Guktan Illusion stone: Quest in progress...

I know this one hasn't been mentioned,but it'll take a poison maker to finish it properly.

This one starts in Neriak. The actual start point is in the Spurned area in the Commons. Head to the top and talk to the enchanter GM there about getting rid of the trolls.

He thinks the best way is assassination of the froglok leaders. He'll send you to the Ebon Hand. Walk in the front door,turn right and walk over to the first rogue you see. Say "I need to assassinate someone." He'll end up giving you a slimy mortar and pestle to combine 4 things- two special components, a Mind Melt and a Susceptible Essence poison.

This is a high level quest. You're going to need a group to get the two other components- one from a snake named Jagged Fang in Dagnor's Cauldron,and a second one as well. I've got to get a group together for the snake before I get any further.

As part of the later part of the quest, you get a single charge ALL/ALL Illusion: Froglok item that's apparently rechargeable. I'm betting this is the "evil" version of the Illusion: Guktan quest.

seems bugged at the moment.....

The hand in in south ro seems bugged at the moment

Tried this at the weekend and got to that part fine, but the NPC in south ro replied correctly, but no spider spawned

/petitioned and reply from guide, they said they would pass it to a GM so hoping to get the hand in note returned sometime soon.

i've noticed the handin mob in sro despawns when the terrorantula is up, which rather caught me offguard

sounds like you didnt even read the quest .. and didnt say the text to spawn the spider .. read the walk thur ffs

I didn't think it was needed to quote the exact steps that I did in south ro here. I thought simply saying that the NPC responded correctly, but nothing spawned would be enough. However.....

Here is what I did.....

You say, 'Hail, Saeko L`Vinec'

I gave her the note.

Saeko L`Vinec says 'So you're the one Sazan sent to help. He must need this venom badly.
Tell you what, since I have been here for so long and turned up nothing I will tell you the
[last known area] that Gargantula was spotted. She is a crafty beast who uses the sands of
this desert to move silently.

I said, 'last known area?'

Saeko L`Vinec says 'From the information I have gathered the last time she came above ground was
somewhere in the middle of the. . . Suddenly as if staring in the face of death Saeko's blue skin
turns deathly grey. She looks at you for a moment and begins to cast a spell. That's when you hear
a loud chittering behind you.'
Saeko L`Vinec begins to cast the gate spell.

And NO spider spawned.

Will repetition tonight and hopefully get my note returned, and possibly find out when the spawn is going to be fixed.

/bug that.

I saw the same frickin' problem on FV-a Vah Shir bard handed in the note.

No Garagantula.

Tried this quest twice with two different characters and neither time, Jagged Fang spawned as it should have.

well i did this quest for the clicky stone, having to run back to nek to recharge isnt worth it anymore since you can just buy a 10 dose illusion potion

800 pp for a 10 dose is pricey but selling a 10 dose with 1 charge left will get you 600pp back. so only a little over 22pp per cast

jagged fang always spawned for us (we did him 2 times ina row for 2 peeps)

but... I think the south ro portion is bugged. I think it only works once per a server down (sucks)

Oh if you want another note to give to the npc in south ro just give jagged fangs scale back to the guy in dagnors and he will give you a new note (unfortunately the npc in south ro seems to have a long spawn time)
