7th shawl combine problem

Ok. I have a question. I hope some can answer it please. There was a poster asking the same question on Allahs with no response.

I just finished shawl 6 and started on 7. I am trying to do the very first combine. I have the mortar and pestle and I tried to combine a small brick of velium in it with a runed sea shell. It says it can't be combined. The shell doesn't have enduring breath on it tho. All shells I've seen lately have Cloud on it.

So I tried it with the velium and a runed sea necklace. This has 5 charges of enduring breath on it. This also said I can't combine.

Does a shell still exist that has enduring breath on it? Like I said, the only ones I have seen have Cloud on it.

If anyone has done the 7th anytime recently, can you please guide me in the right direction? Thank you kindly.

There are two shells. The more common one has cloud on it. It is used in a different quest I do believe. The one you need is the shell with EB on it. The necklace won't work only the shell with EB on it will.

The shell with EB is dropped or was dropped in SG. Hopefully they did not fubar that up when they revamped the zone. It is lots rarer than the shell with cloud on it though.

shell with cloud is used in the 9th part of the coldain ring quest, to make avalanche ale

i had the opposite pb (had runed sea shell with eb and was wondering why combine didn't work)

Ok. Thanks a ton for the help. I never looked at the ring quest so didn't know there were 2 shells. This clears things up. I appreciate the help.
