Last night (Friday Aug 8th) I got home from work at 10:45 and logged in my scout I had in Iceclad... The general was up, and only 6 other people in the zone, so I put out the word to rally the forces... Jarlaxyle and Kalenzas were waiting for me to show up, Doozers and Dubb were ready to sacrifice their mighty bodies for the cause. Kaadil was looking for something to kill in the Plane of Knowledge, I told him of some giants and wolves that were begging to taste his cold steel. I sent my drogmor to the Plane of Valor with a message to Bazzabia and Sirrex and they stopped their quest for riches and brought their whole group to rally around the general in Iceclad.
I arrived in Iceclad with Dubb and Kaadil guarding my back; (I was weighed down with the crate full of armor that the general needed to don before he would dare to start his trek). We found the rest of the force waiting for us, gathered around the mighty general, listening to his tales of past battles that stained the snow with the blood of giants. We were all blessed with the massive intellect of Koadic by Bazziaba, I bestowed the Focus of Khura, Kalenzas spread around the Call of the Predator.
Handing the general his armor, he suited up and asked for his mission. I gave him the orders from the Dain himself and we followed him across the snowy island. Many giants and wolves attacked us along the way, but we held strong. Sirrex and Jejune were busy tending to the wounded warriors with bloody wounds dripping into the cold white snow, and we did not have anyone succumb to the mighty blades the giants were wielding.
We finally made it to the campground, and the Avatar of Below came out to meet us. I showed him my Runed shawl; he gave it his blessing and returned it to me...
Gratz to Kaadil, Jarlaxyle, and Doozers for winning the 3 pieces of loot that dropped. Thanks to everyone for helping, this was my 4th scheduled attempt, the prior 3 fizzled out due to the general being otherwise engaged. Thank you Sirrex and Bazz for dropping what you were doing, AND for bringing your whole group with you. They were key to our success. Thanks Jejune for coming and healing our wounded butts!
