Sorry if this is already posted somewhere else, I couldn't find it using the "search" feature on boards. Also if there's an item database by drop mobs/zones I would like to be directed to it if possible.

If you mean regular sapphires, vendors are a good spot to get them. They are on the vendors with the costlier gems. If you mean black sapphires, they drop in Sebilis, LoY, planes, etc.Tinile, 85th Druid of the Seventh Hammer

Actually, sapphires are among the gems that can drop from mobs on the wharf and ships in Dulak. Gems aren't too common there, but they do drop now and then.
