  • Finally!

With the new patch in today, casserole dishs are now STACKABLE! About time. I know how much a pain it is to do casserole dishs when they were not stackable. Wish they had done it sooner . Happy tradeskilling guys!

And the ceramic linings are stackable as well

Having already hit 200 pottery on two characters I doubt I’ll have to use casserole dishes to skill up again, but I’m still very pleased with this change. In fact, I’ll get to tell the young whippersnappers how easy they have it. “Back when I was a young potter, they hadn’t invented casserole dishes yet. And when they finally did neither the sketches nor the ceramic linings were stackable. You young folk just don’t appreciate how easy you’ve got it.”

The patch message didn't mention anything about casserole dishes and/or casserole dish sketches being stackable; has this been confirmed in game?

Please, has this been confirmed? The DB does not list Casserole Dishes as Stackable, and my plan to skill up pottery on these and then save them for baking depends on stackability.

I can confirm that unfired ceramic linings do not stack but that Fired Ceraminc Linings do.

I guess I will be doing the Wheel-Kiln shuffle.

Casserole Dish *Sketch* is stackable, the actual Dish is not.

Why is that a bad thing? Which recipe were you planning to use? I only see 3 recipes that if on failure or success would return the Casserole Dish.

                  Oh, wait.

You mean the Casserole Dish is not consumed in a successful Baking recipe of Cheesy Griffon Casserole?

                  Let's see:

                  http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_...=3773&menustr=

Baking Components: casserole dish, cheese, griffon meat, noodles
In: spit, oven, tanaan oven, collapsible spit
                  Yield: 1
                  Also Returns: casserole dish
                  On Failure Returns: casserole dish

                  Trivial at: >250

Ah, well that's very different, now isn't it? As Emily Litella used to say: "Nevermind"

What I was going to do was skill up on pottery to 199 and then turn to baking, and I thought I needed a casserole dish for each combine, and that it was consumed. Now I see I can skill up and trash my successes (or fire them and sell them -- any opinion on the economics of that choice?) saving ONE for my baking, and not requiring that I stick them on an alt in bulk until I was ready for the baking.

                  Thanks!
