  • Casserole Dishes Trivail At?

Was planning on making these up to skill 199, as that is the posted trivial limit. However, making mine it tapped out at 137... unless the firing process is different from the actually potter wheel. Anyone know for sure?

Firing trivials are always WAY lower then wheel trivials. You do not use the kiln for skill ups, only to finish a product. You can make casserole dishes until 199.

Unless you want to sell the finished product, don’t bother firing pottery items as all your skill ups will be coming from your pottery wheel combines. You’ll find that in most cases the small amount of money the vendor will pay you for the finished product just isn’t worth the trouble of running to the vendor and selling it back. There are exceptions, of course. Poison vials can be sold back for a decent price or sold on your vendor in the bazaar. I’d suggest firing one of each new item you make and selling that back to the vendor. If you feel its worth your time and trouble to fire your product for that amount of return then go for it.

Once you start making things like steins, usually around 200 skill, it’s a different story. Those can be sold on your bazaar vendor, though such sales are often slow since there is such a glut on the market. Still, if you have the room to store them you should eventually get most of your money back and possibly even make a profit.
