  • What are these worth

So I made a few crucibles of escape just for giggles, and now I am not sure what to do with them. Are they worth selling in the bazaar, and if so, what are they worth. Any advice would be great.

As always it depends on your server, but I could barely move mine at 150pp on Luclin.

I tried to get several opionons on what people would pay for them and the consesus seems to be no more than 100pp

100pp sounds about right. All it does is save a gem slot for the two classes that already have evac/succor. Only useful in Siren's Grotto if you ask me.

Ah, but the spell is uninterruptable. Comes in quite handy when you're getting beat on trying to cast evac or succor.

Uh... why would it be uninterruptable? Item effects are just as interruptable as other spells.

Well, my druid uses CoE for several reasons. First of all is mana free. There are several times when he is the main healer and out of mana. This sucker comes in handy when things go bad.

Secondly, you can cut down a lot of traveling time by using this. If you know all the succor points then it becomes a valuable item. You mentioned the SG. You can also port in to WL and succor to Kael. Within Kael, you can zone in from the WL side and succor to the other zoneline. It is much quicker to port to WL, succor, zone in to Kael, succor then trying to port in to IC or GD and making a run. You can port to SF and port over to OT zoneline (which is almost as quick or quicker than taking OT stone). The list goes on. Even for a druid, I still have to run from one end of the zone to other end. It cuts down on danger and time of those travels.

The main advantage is a ninth spell slot. This allows one to have Succor up and still have 8 more spells.

I've sold for 200 when not in a hurry on Karana. I've /auctioned this benefit and attracted clients.

I have sold several at 300pp each on Mith Marr. I upped the price to 500pp to try to keep other potters from undercutting until they are not worth the time, so probably will not be selling any at that price...

I have a somewhat related question. I’ve been hunting in Seb with a friend recently. Where is the easiest place to fish for those fishies needed to fire the crucible? We’ve held the necro camp several times, but I can’t fish from the bridge. I assume it’s too high up. Can I jump down and fish at the water’s edge? I’ve been afraid to try since I don’t know if there are angry mobs of frogs waiting to make an example of me to discourage other foolish fishermen.

I'm pretty sure you can fish in the "krup jail" area (the big room with the jail cells on either side, before the Brain Room, on the way to Shrooms) but that's hardly the safest place to take up the passtime...

I've kept the few I had at 900 pp. I only sell one per month, but that's just as good for me as selling one per day at 100pp.

I just jumped off the first bridge by the entry way and there is a perfect ledge right next to the water that you can fish at all day and be completly safe.

I fish in the moat around the Seb Guardian spawn, at the locked door down to to crypt.
