Question regarding Pottery for Shawl

Hey, ia m new to this tradeskill, but really enjoying it and have been working on my fourth Shawl combines, however when I go to combine my small block of velium, 3 crystaline silks and 2 glass shards it says I may not combine these in this container. Am using the kiln just like the guide says. It says to look for stackable blocks of small velium, but I have hunted in hte suggested places a bunch and just seen the normal unstackable ones. Can anyone help me out with this problem?

I haven't done the 4th shawl yet, but isn't it two Small PIECES of Velium (and a Small Brick of Velium)?

You may want to read the instructions here one more time.

The first combine is on the wheel, and it uses the (non stack) Small Brick. The stackable small pieces are used in the purifier. To get these, keep killing Orcs or look in Bazaar.

bleah...sorry, yeah it was ont he wheel I made the attempt and it was a nonstackable small brick. Messed it up in original post. I followed the instructions int he fourth shawl tutorial on here exactly, reread and did it a couple more tries to make sure I had the right components it listed where they should be going.

Make sure you have the crystaline silks unstacked in the wheel.

Silks were unstacked but glass shards weren't. *bonks self on the head* Such a newbie tradeskiller mistake. Thanks. Now the proud owner of the fourth shawl. bout 35% more to go in tailoring till I canget 5th.

Congratulations on your 4th shawl. And don’t feel too bad about your mistake. I’m sure everyone practicing trade skills has made a similar mistake at least once. I’ve done it on several occasions. I just have to sit back and start looking at things from the beginning and figure out what I’ve done wrong. The last time was when I was trying to make Justice Fruit Pies. I finally figured out that the reason I couldn’t get them to combine was because I’d forgotten to add the muffin tin. Dohh!

Ahh, there's your problem - you need to do the initial combine on the wheel, then fire the unfired vial in the kiln, then say the line to the one chick to get her to give you the container to do the final combine in.
