Muddites are on Xorbb faction I do believe.

Well, see, this is where things get interesting. The minotaurs and the evil eyes both con as "ready to attack", but the Muddites all con as "kindly". This means that these two groups are on different factions.

Killing Muddites gives negative Xorbb faction and positive Goblin faction, among others. Same applies for killing minotaurs and eyes. King Xorbb itself is an evil eye. There were no muddite-specific faction messages that I saw. That implies that there's a third faction at play here, which serves as the base faction for the Muddites.

Does this mean I've been misinterpreting the situation? Maybe the Muddites are on Highkeep or Karana faction? Maybe the minotaurs and eyes are on some evil faction that hates me? Something else altogether?

Anyone have any ideas?

This is a fascinating perspective, and one that has been something of a sticking point for me. If a race happens to dislike me so much that I am KOS to them, but that race has no other impact on the world, does that give me the right to treat them as an enemy?

Perhaps not. Their attitude may not meet your requirements. But their actions should I would hope. They have spontaneosly attacked Erolis Marr Paladins on your server in the past, I am sure =). Need to see evidence yourself? Send a Pally and see!

Also, (like the geonids?), they might not be alive (might not be a race) at all, so you could consider them OK to hack with your blade. Like a medievil version of a robot.

On reflection, I think the Mino's in Live LowerGuk are on Xorbb faction.

I'm pretty sure that the LGuk Live Side Minotaurs are on the Frogloks of Guk faction, actually. Or at least, they conned the same to me as all the live side frogs...
