  • odylic vials - skill restricted?

I just noticed the trivial listed for these is >250 and only requires three vendor bought items to make. Has anyone tested if these are skill restricted, similar to ethereal silk swatches and ethereal metal rings?

This was a rather large error on my part. Trivial is LESS than 250 for the unfired part - it's the exact recipe for an unfired medium jar, the firing process is just massively different than what you'd do for a jar.

    I definitely need more sleep.

Also note that the multielemental glaze, necessary to make the Odylic Vial, trivials over 250.

Since the components for the glaze are rare drops in high-level Planes, and the glaze does have a high trivial, I don't think making the vial level restricted would be necessary.

Not true. Glazes for PoP pottery are zero skill combines and you get no "you can not further your skill blah blah" message, thus why someone thought this was a greater than 250 skill combine. I have made all glazes from PoP and get the same message, I just made Windy Glaze to verify. I have never failed the combine and I regularly had my level 8 mule with 0 pottery skill make the glazes for me when I had space issues on holding the Glaze Mortar.

That said, Multielemental Glaze is a pain to make, the components are rare as hell.

It's a moot point now that we know it was a mistake. Thanks Denmother for fixing the information.
