Ok, so I have 4 Silicorrosive greases that I looted the other night while raidin the PoI Dragon, as no one else was collecting them, and I knew they were used in a PoP pottery item. My skill is 227 atm,

So I looked up the above item and DOH, you need to be a Tinker to imbue the Diamond...my High Elf self is out of luck, unless this is a no-fail tinkering combine, as the greases are no-drop.

So should I make the greases into Innovative glaze anyways and hope can lure a tinker into PoI to loot some grease and imbue a few diamonds for me, or should i just hand them in to the gnome in the windmill for Xp?

Is the hammer worth it (Enhancement Haste seems like a pretty lame focus effect, casting buffs faster by a few seconds is not all that worth it, or is it? Or is the Hammer a good item simply for the stats & the fact it is equippable in range slot?

Opinions please..

I don't know. My druid has equipped herself with nearly all the focus II items she could afford. She looked at Enhancement Haste and said, "Who cares how fast I cast a buff?"

But Enhancement Haste is said to work on beneficial spells. Well, are healing spells considered to be beneficial spells? Enhancement Haste doesn't work with Complete Heal — does anyone know if it works with regular healing spells?

Silicorrosive Grease has been made tradeable with most recent patch(earlier today).

Now you can give them to your local favorite tinker to imbue the diamonds.

If you look at Enhancement Haste on Lucy, you can see that the beneficial spells in question must be at least 72.0 sec in duration, so Heals don't fall into that category. Sorry.

This is definitely not the most valuable of our ceramic items... It mainly is of use to heavy buffing classes before raids -- it's not going to see a lot of use in combat.[/url]

Yeah, enhancement haste is pretty much The Suq as far as focus effects go. The only ones I can think of that are less useful are the summoning/reanimation haste.

On another note, the minimum duration doesn't quite seem to be working, since I've had several shamans inform me that Enhancement Haste works with Torpor, which only lasts 24 seconds. That said though, the spell does need to have SOME sort of duration for Enhancement Haste to work - it doesn't work on heals, but it may work on Heals over Time.

Still the hammer of innovation is...uhm.. probably not worth the effort. Especially seeing as how it has arguably the worst stats of any of the pottery focus doodahs.

Well, now that the Silicorrosive Grease is tradeable, I may try a combine or two, since I have 4 of them. Of course, since it is also stackable now, I may just save them up for a larger skill-run.

taking up a bank slot

I made 2 of these just after the patch, my tinker is at 211 so he made the diamonds for me.

Cant shift them tried lots of patter, just cant seem to shift the things, maybe one day it will sell when im afk in /trader mode

I was looking for further uses of a greasy diamond of innovation and could only find the hammer. Is there some other use that I have missed?
