The final product "Artisan's Seal" for the brewer's trophy quest is not correct. the trivial for the unfired may be 16 however the product Artisan's Seal when you combine the high quality firing sheet and the unfired Artisan's Seal is a bit more....at lvl 111 in Pottery I lacked the skills to combine it. so when I find out what it is I will repost with the actual trivial. But please don't think it's 16 because that is not true.

Sadly, this is true. The Artisan Seal is indeed trivial at 16. However, you still have a slight chance to fail it (ranging from 5% to 1%) until you hit 216 raw skill, at which point it becomes no fail.Sir KyrosKrane Sylvanblade

Just in case it was not clear from the other posts, any time you fail a combine, you get the "you lacked the skills" message. This just means you failed the combine, nothing more. If I recall correctly (it has been many years) that message was added to acknowledge to the player they had attempted a recipe but failed (instead of all your items just disappearing, leaving you not knowing if the recipe was correct or not, as the game mechanic did at one time).
With some time and exploration the meaning of trade skill messages will become clearer, but interpretations of meaning (like "trivial) have been subject to many heated debate for 9+ years. I recall Ngreth posting a couple times that tradeskill terms will be visited at some point and updated to be more accurate, but it is not a high priority.
Trivial levels and everything else you need to know about trade skilling is laid out pretty clearly in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section. I strongly recommend reading them and asking if you have any questions.
