Pottery Books??

Is there pottery book just like the augment and armor books for smithing? I tried a combine today and got this message

This seems correct but something is wrong. Perhaps you need to know something more in order to combine this. I have a 278 skill with out trophies. I seen this once before, and after I scribed the scroll, I was able to smith the item, but I can not find pottery books.

I need to know specifically what recipe you tried so i can look it up.

The symbol or armor recipe books I believe also provide you with the charm recipe(s) for the same levels. I want to say armor, but since symbol books give the charm patterns, it may be symbols.

What level of charm were you trying to make? It could be a skill related issue since you are only 278 or it could be something else.

Were you experimenting or did you find the recipe using the tradeskill UI search?

Also providing more information is generally helpful in most cases. I always suggest including:

What server are you on (more below).
What race/class (and maybe even diety) are you?
What is your raw skill?
What is your modified skill?
Do you have Tradeskill AAs for this skill?
What zone are you attempting the combine in?
What container are you attempting to do the combine in?
What is the exact recipe you are trying?
What are the exact parts you are attempting to use to perfomr the combine?

And any amplifying information that you think would be useful.



A couple things that come to mind:

Are you on progression (Combine) server? Some things are not unlocked yet so cannot be attempted.

Are you trying to do the SoF tradeskill quest combine, but out of order? These are designed as quest combines and I though I read that you need to be doing the quest to get "flagged" to make the combine. (I'll admit my information is fuzzy since my pottery is still lagging at 200 and I have not started this quest yet).
