  • Returning after 4 years: question

I haven't tradeskilled since PoP came out. There looks to be a lot a great changes since I played last.

Last I played, Pottery was getting lots of love. Is Pottery still a good profession to be in?

There are SOOOOOOOO many tradeskill items in the bazaar, and I'm very much lost on where to start and what to make. I am 250 in pottery as that was the cap last I really played.

So, what would be good to skill up on to 300 and what are some good sellers as a potter now?

    Thanks

Not a lot in pottery really sells well anymore. Some of the POP recipes tribute well and you can craft charms for the cultural armor sets, but beyond that, pottery is kinda weak.

There is a good guide Complete Tradeskill Guide that has a good skill up path. Pottery can go to 300 on vendor sold combines (and some enchanting).

The big selling items right now are the revamped cultural armors (and their drops) that require smithing, tailoring, or tinkering to craft.

The artisan's charm is a good item but you need to be over 250 in all tradeskills to make it really:-)

Ditto on the artisan charm. If you like tradeskilling and want an easy non raiding charm item with 2 aug slots, consider this. You'd need your pottery close to 300 to have a chance of making one as there's like 3 combines in the high trival range (including the final in kiln) to make it. I failed the first one. :P

Don't need Pottery near cap I made mine with Pottery at 200. You just might have to farm pieces a 2nd or 3rd time is all.
