Could someone please tell me where grimling blood drops? And, is it still no drop?

Still NO DROP.
Drops quite often off Grimlings in Tenebrous Mts. Try the two Miner caves. If you're of a higher level, get a group and hit Acrylia Caverns. LOTS of Grimlings there. Good luck!

Grimling blood in the pit around Shar Val
If you are low level and want to collect Grimling blood, you can hunt the grimling runts in the pit around Shar Val. I collected all 10 blood I needed to do the Shar Val pottery quest (no fails on etching - Yay!) from the grimling runts in the pit. My opinion is that if you kill the young hoppers in the pit, you will spawn Grimlings. The needle claw hoppers spawn whiptail scorpions. The regular scorpions spawn beetles. The reverse of each of the three is true too. On a side note, I was hoping to get a finger bone for the tailoring quest too but in the 200 or so grimling runts I killed, no finger bones. All told I was in the pit for 3 to 4 hours over 2 sessions.
