  • Ding 300 in Pottery, now what?

A long time ago, it seemed like a good idea to GM pottery. Now that I've reached that point, I'm trying to figure out what I can make for resale in the bazaar. PoP items were my first guess but I haven't had a whole lot of luck finding ingredients and I'm not flagged for elementals.

I looked briefly into the player made charms but it appears that the ingredients make those impractical to make - the ingredients cost more than what I would consider a fair price for the charm.

So, is there anything that is worthwhile for a 300 potter to make and sell in the bazaar? I'm not looking to make enormous chunks of plat (though that would be nice too). I just would like to get some use out of my skill.

    Thanks,

Just checked bazaar for spiritstones. 2 Cabilis ones at 800pp and 4 Shar Vahl stones for 500-1050pp.

I will have to look into the bazu charm. Thanks for the info.

Don't bother. The bazu charms are worthless. Unless they changed something, there is no augment slot, and the stats aren't even that good with full bazu gear. I actually trashed my old bazu charm in favor of a DoN one so I could have 2 augments.

My advice for making pottery items include keeping an assortment of faithstones available (slow moving), and doing ceramic shields of valor.
At least the shields tribute well.

As much as it hurts to admit, those a words are true. Pottery did recieve seriously sellable recipes after PoP. (I still believe this is a major plot that lead to EQ2 potters. There are no potters in EQ2.)

I managed to make a Bazu Charm before Ixiola posted. It actually sold the other day.

I have managed to make 2 Ceramic Shields of Valor (1 sold, 1 tributed), 1 Ceramic Skull of Decay (still on trader), and 1 Ceraminc Incense Burner of Ro (sold to someone selling others at a higher price. My price was a guess.)

For those of you that make spiritstones/faithstones, do you have pocket rogues to make the White Lead or can anyone do the combine? I have only seen white lead in the bazaar once and its price was twice the price of the spiritstones and faithstones in the bazaar.

Anyone can make white lead, it's a no fail combine.
