Scrindite's Senescent Scribbles -- poofed?

Just submitting this to the community to see if anyone else has had this happen. I logged on to find that my Scrindite's Senescent Scribbles quest piece, which I had worked so hard for, had been transformed into "Basic Pottery".

Needless to say, I petitioned. The answer I got was to the effect of "This item has been changed and you will not be given a new one". The wording that the GM used was somewhat ambiguous (as in, he could have been talking about my particular item being changed, or it being stealth-nerfed in the game), so I wanted to ask this of other tradeskillers --- anything like this happen to others?

Logged on to check to seeif mine had been changed and it hadn't. I suggest you repetition.

the only thing that should have changed is tradeskill tag. No other changes were made.

The pottery that needs this book has had the trivial reduced (you could literally get to 252 with a few gold... not intended)
