    Spawn time on PFC

Was wondering when the groundspawns repop? What kind of time delay should i expect? Thanks in advance.

Ohhhhh....I think I've found a new job for my Abysmal Sea mule *grin*. Bind her in the safe spot in Permafrost, and I can gate her out whenever I need to get stuff from the boat.

I have no idea where I originally got this idea so, take it with a grain of salt, but I'm thinking 2 hours repop time.

          Spawn locations

          Hello all,
I recently skilled up my pottery to 199 making casserole dishes and was wondering what recipe(s) to advance my skill. Was leaning toward making ceramic bands since they seemed the best option for obtaining supplies... until finding this thread. All I need now are the locations of the Iron Oxide. If anyone could post those, it would be much appreciated.

          A related question:
Should I skip ceramic bands and go straight to Golden Idols?

Well, it took me a while of looking around, but I finally found that 5th ground spawn in the pit. For those that want it, here's the map location for it:

            P -105.5167, -319.1827, -20.0002, 0, 0, 0, 3, GS

Also, be aware if you're running a lowbie around invis to gather these things, the ice goblin mob in the last room in the pit with the 2 ground spawns appears to see invis. It's no problem for my 25 druid. She can grab the two spawns and gate out without too much trouble. But if you're much lower than that, you'll have trouble getting those two.

Just wanted to add my two cents worth here on what to make to skill up to 200. I have had a lot of success making Poison, Lined Poison and Sealed Poison vials. The only non-vendor item is the 'skins' to make them. Since most of the items are hard to to farm in large quantities, I was bummed about my chances until I discoved that zombie skins work as well as MQ skins. Go to any noob zone with lots of zombies and hack away for an hour and you will have 2-3 stacks of skins, much faster than the MQ skin avenue. I have made it to >180 on the sealed version and will now start on advanced posion vials (rogues use them) to get to 196 (I think). If you have a gnome tinkerer, you can also use the sealed version and 'tinker' them to an advanced version with a peridot.

Best place for zombie skins I've found is Innothule swamp. I go there to farm spiderling silks, bone chips, and zombie skins. You can get all three in abundance right in that zone.

Another thing to do is to check the venders in Gulf of Gunthak. A lot of people sell the skins there (and bone chips) from hunting the beach and camping that darn Temperence spell. I almost always find zombie skins there.

Update on the permafrost crystal front. I had said last time that the ice goblin in the room with the last two crystals could see invis. As of the last patch, it appears they fixed that. He no longer sees invis, so it's again safe to grab those for the lowbies *grin*.

And as of today, there are no goblins in that back room at all. The one from the hallway leading up to it and the one in the room were both gone. *shrugs* Gotta love patches.

Does anyone know if the same thing happened on Live?

Oh, nothing about the gobs can make me scratch my head. Over the years I have seen them sink into the floor, pop out again, see invis, see not invis, ... changing with every patch that comes along. Maybe it's some kind of entertainment, just for the Permafrost collectors.

Oh btw: Permafrost Crystals are now used for the new DoN Half Elf Cultural (!!! yes, finally!) gear. So expect to see baz prices go up on these (or be on the luckier side and be the baz seller).

*sigh* and this morning, there was a see invis mob (just another plain old ice goblin) at the drop down point. Couldn't get past that point gathering crystals this morning. So far, I've got about 12 stacks stored up for the day I actually start making a run on pottery.
