  • Sucess Rate?

I just did 200 combines (with an additional 400 sub-combines) to get from 188 to 189 skill. (260 WIS)

    *Rubs wrist*

Okay, also tonight I got 202 to 212 in Smithing. Simelar number of combines.

No idea if that's just bad luck or what, but I was getting a simelar sucess rate on Pottery on the last few points up to 188.

So anyway, I want to make a Spiritstone of Everfrost, (Triv 335) How long to I have to put up with this wrist killing pottery skillups until I have a 10% chance to suceed on the Spiritstone? (I have a Geerlok)

Never Mind. I think I found the answer I'm looking for and it isn't pretty. =(

Even though you may have found your answer..

    you'll need a 200 pottery skill (add in 5% geerlok on top) for a 10% success on spirit/faithstones. They're 50/50 at 252 skill.

They run some 250p per attempt if you have or can have another enchanter do the enchanting.

Another bit of advice is to keep the trivial level of the combine as close as possible to your skill level for max successful combines.

The other suggestion is to look at the pottery recipies and use the quick trivial list to find items near your skill level that are feasible to make.

I feel for you in skilling up pottery, it took me a loooong time to get it finished.

      g'luck
      What day is it anyway?

Or it could be the fact that the RNG for pottery just has a bad attitude. 64 combines of planar steins last night. Starting skill: 199. Final skill: 199.
