  • gnollish protection

Hi with the new trade skill UI i did a search of pottery recipes 216-500 i came up with gnollish protection diety. I have not seen this in any list. The ingredients are diamond, magic clay, sketch of brell serillis or sketch of rallos zek. I have no idea where to find these sketches or what these protection dieties are just wondered if anyone had any info.

I looked a bit for the sketches, including Jaggedpine (the only gnoll merchants I know of), without finding them. Lucy has never seen them, either.

I think it's safe to assume these live right next to the Urn Sketch.

It might be cultural kind of.. The new loy robes require you to hail an npc in your home town to get sketches --npc only respond if your of that race.

Might I suggest someone visit a Home town that supports RZ or brell and start hailing?

Easy enough to find, those are visible or at least were, in teh tradeskill UI. I dont' remember seeing the fired one on a kiln, although I may not have looked.

Yes, but unfired idols means that someone found the sketches.

Aye - good catch Itzena. The thing that bothers me is that the sketches didn't show up in Lucy. Anyone know who Jasil is?

Been looking for the sketches in various places with no luck: cleric guilds in Kaladim and N.Qeynos, all the vendors in Jaggedpine,...

This is just a willd guess, but maybe the RZ sketch drops off the kos gnolls in JP, and the brell sketch drops off the brell worshiping gnolls? Might be worth checking out /shrug

If you're talking about the Gnolls in the cave in the North, they do drop some RZ words, but I've never seen a sketch, and I've killed a bunch of them. But, of course, that doesn't mean they don't...

I've cheked and indeed, both are visible, in the UI, if you right click the unfired diety in the potter wheel, or right click the fired one in the kiln, it will bring up a link to the item, and that is enough for Lucy Collector to catch it, meaning he did not have to have the sketch, or for that matter a single pottery related item in his inventory.

Rats - well at least now some of us have learned that nuance of the Lucy colletor.

Thanks Cherryflavour for explaining a little more.
