    Perhaps this is mentioned on one of the pottery guides somewhere, but I found it quite helpful...when getting into the 222 range (where they trivial), Green Ceramic Bands are *extremely* cost effective.

    Only non store-bought ingrediant are the vials of cloudy mana, and significantly unfired green ceramic bands sell to NPCs for 7p6g, which is a recoup of about 1/3rd the cost of the other ingrediants. Curiously, if you fire them, the NPC sell price drops down to 1s1c, so they are actually better unfired.

      Yep, I noticed this and posted this way back. That's what I did to skill up to save some money. It seems that only the green band sells back for that much. The rest of the bands sell for very little, fired or not.
