Tiger Skin works for poison vials

I looked at the list of pelts in the recipes section before I started farming pelts for making poison vials, and found that Tiger Skin was not listed there. Just for fun, I tried to make all three types of poison vials with these skins, and all were able to combine with it.

The Tiger Skin that I picked up dropped in Stonebrunt Mountains from the Kejek tigers. I do not know if the Tiger Skins that drop in other zones are the same thing, but these skins also drop in EJ, Kerra Island, and Ak'Anon zoo.

Nice work... for your next assignment, try a leopard skin from Stonebrunt.

OMG, I was looking at the poison vial recipes... someone actually used a high quality lion skin (used for making fleeting quivers) to see if it could be used.

Either nobody has reported in the past that tiger skins work or SoE slipped this modification in at some point.

OK just to confirm the item Tiger Skin with the attributes describes is the one you used?

I ask because if I search for 'Tiger' I get the following items:

A Peculiar Tiger Pelt
A Strange Tiger Pelt
An Unusual Tiger Pelt
Excellent Sabertooth Tiger Hide (Wood Elf Armor)
Sabertooth Tiger Hide (Wood Elf Armor)
Sabertooth Tiger Mane
Tiger Skin

(and then Tigeraptor Armor pieces)

The Pelts and the Mane have no known source or use. The Tiger Skin is the one I believe you are refering to.

It is just plain old Tiger Skin. It is not stackable.

And I tried a leopard skin as well, which did not combine.

Sorry for the bump, but, thanks - I asked about this in Tailoring, I think. It's been bugging me for a while, so now I can get rid of those 8 skins in my bank.
