ANY poison that is made using a specific sketch can use the Master Sketch instead. The Master Sketch is meant to be a single-slot convenience for those who have fully completed the sketches quest.

Could I ask for a clarification please?

Are you trying to say you can make the same poison using different ingredients (ie, different sketches)?

Currently the DB has:

Wasted Flesh:
Components: advanced poison vial, celestial suspension, drop of mercury, ocean ink, plague mites, vein rot sketch
In: mortar and pestle, collapsible mortar and pestle
Yield: 1
Also Returns: vein rot sketch
On Failure Returns: vein rot sketch
This combine may only be made by Rogues

From my interpretation, I can add a second recipe, and replace the vein rot sketch with the Master Sketch in all locations?

There is also a marble mortar and pestle. Is this an alternative container for all poisons? Or is this used for only certain poisons?

Yes to both your questions. Master Sketch can be used in place of a normal sketch in all poisons that require a sketch. Second, the Marble Mortar and Pestle works for all single dose poison combines to the best of my knowledge. In addition, so does the collapsible.

OK Other silly question... if in the above recipe, you FAIL to make the Wasted Flesh, the only thing returned is the Sketch? Or do you also get the Advanced Poison Vial back as well?

Ok did a walk through of all Single Dose Poison Recipes. If they required a Vial as input, I have set the recipe to note the Vial is returned on Failure...

Added a couple more 'Advanced Vial + Master Sketch + (other ingredient)' Recipes I had missed the other day.
