Found some strange recipes...

Consigned Bite of the Shissar (I-XV) CB(1-10)

Basically, it combines your made poison into the consigned type, and also yields consigned poison vials of the appropriate type.

What exactly is the reasoning behind these recipes?

I don't know, so take this for the guess that it is:

Perhaps those recipes are there so that the poisons you make can be converted to stack with the poisons you get from the weekly task.

My rogue has 2 consigned recipes in his book, and both of them were the rewards from the poison task from his hometown.

What were the ingredients shown in your mortar? I tried to combine a consigned poison in mine and got the error message; then tried a normal poison and got error message.
