Make Poison Omens Component

Hi, this is my first post on this mb. I recently started trying to make some poisons that use Omens drops. There are 2 poisons that I want to make, but have not seen one of the components at all in game. Systemic Destruction and Vascular Inferno both use "Noc Tail" as a component, but I have not been able to find a single one. I've looked on vendors, camped the listed drop areas and searched the Bazaar. I've been looking for a little over a month and have not been able to find one, and nobody I've spoken to in game has seen any either. Is this item still dropping? Allakhazam lists it as a common drop off of a Noc Havocblades in DS, but I've cleared every single NOC in zone many times over, and gotten nothing. Can anyone give me any help or ideas? If a dev reads this, I'm on emarr.

For what it's worth, "Common" is the default rarity for items on Allakhazam, so take that with a grain of salt.

For what it's worth the Omens of War poison recipes nearly all require at least one annoyingly rare dropped item. In fact, some of these things are so rare that it's just not even remotely worth the bother to try to farm them. If you happen to get some of these rare drops consider yourself very lucky.

While this is true, I have seen a change in the availibility and pricing of certain components in baz lately. I was able to buy 10 Noc tails at one time, no kidding. Last weekend I finished testing the last oow poison recipes (except the one that is not working) and while fooling around I was able to create my first two 10-shots of oow poisons. Quite a suprise.

as far as i remember i used to have noc tail in god zones, riwwiwi was a good spot, will check my logs

Not the same drop

The GoD zone drop is 'broken noc tail' or something similar, and not usable in poisons. I've made a lot of the omens poisons, 10 shotted most, and noc tail is by far the rarest component - though it takes a long time to accumulate elder chimera poison sacs and some other things also.
