Poison making

I was looking for a FAQ on make poison but I didn't see it.
My question is: Does poison making still rely on your level of char.

Can you only go so far if your a level 30 char or can you max it out to 300.
I have found some reports that you would have to be 60 to max out that tradeskill.

I'm pretty sure you can GM in at 30, I know someone who's rogue is under 60 and GM'd it. The reports of needing to be 60+ are from years ago (same used to be true for alchemy I think).

This is no longer the case. As far as I am aware, as soon as you first get the poisonmaking skill you may skill up to 300. Also of note, it counts as a special skill in the category of tinkering, research, and alchemy, and does not count as your one free post 200 tradeskill (without buying TCM).
