Heartsting scorpions from Hades

Wow, am I just unlucky or are heartsting venom sacs extremely rare? It's hard enough to find the scorpions but I have killed so many of them and nada on the venom. I started poison making after the trophies came out and obviously I should have made the trophy at a low level and let it level up with me but I wasn't worried about it at the time. I have enjoyed the challenge of making the other trophies at a higher level, and didn't mind hunting for ingredients, so I didn't start until 279. Well, I'm kicking myself this time. I've had every other component done for ages and I'm just stuck on this one.
Was just wondering if anyone else had this same problem.

I'm on Druzzil Ro. Hunted 2 more hours after I posted and still nothing. Wasn't sure if it was just me or if that was normal. I'm finding the heartsting scorpions, they just aren't dropping anything.

Well, I finally got the last venom I needed. I was fortunate enough to find one in the bazaar awhile ago and have been hunting the last one for a long time now. I was about ready to post here and do the "I finally got my trophy, thank god the heartsting hunting is over" dance - when I hit combine for an item that is triv at 204 (my skill is 279), and I bet you can guess what happened.....
Yep, failure.

heartsting scorpions are extremely rare

heartsting venom sacks are extremely rare

making a poison from an extremely rare mob from its even rarer extremely rare drop makes it a super omega ultra rare poison

if your looking to make these for trophy or what not, don't be surprised to be hunting for hours upon hours and going completely insane from killing mobs in 1 hit while looking for a specific mob to spawn with a specific drop to drop.

Which makes it even more fun when it's trivial and you fail the combine. LoL
I havn't had that much trouble finding the scorpions, I have a tracker to do that fortunately. But they aren't terribly common. The venom sac, on the other hand, is a different story.

I noticed that they dont drop too frequently but I was still able to average 6 a hour. I just killed everything in the area where they spawn. I used my druid to track when they popped but killed anything else (sent Booboo in to do the dirty work) that could be a placeholder.

Yeah, I've been killing everything in sight too. But thanks. I've been using my druid as well, but I did forget about Booboo, LoL. He has so few uses I forget about him in the times he would actually be useful. At least if I use him I can sit back and not have to kill greenies. I've taken a bit of a break from the farming cause I play very casually and I just got tired of logging in a couple hours a week to do nothing but futile farming. Maybe I just need to give it another shot and be more patient.

Patience is one thing you learn as a Rogue! And yes, on Xegony, getting those sacs are near impossible. Best night I ever had I netted a dozen after a search of about three hours.
